First Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii addressed the Conference of the U.S.-Ukraine dialogue on security issues in the Council on Foreign Relations of the U.S. with a report entitled "Hybrid war in Ukraine."
In his report Parubii emphasized on the need for continuation of sanctions against Russia as the most effective tool of constraining Putin.
The First Deputy Chairperson stressed that the U.S. should play a leading part in this process.
The conference was also attended by Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Dr. Michael Carpenter. According to A.Parubii, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense assured that "the U.S. support for Ukraine will only strengthen."
